Who you actually get
On almost every job it is Steve or Matt, and usually both. Steve runs the business and is the person you speak to when you ring; Matt works alongside him. There is no call centre in between and no rotating cast of subcontractors, which is why our customers tend to name them both when they leave a review.
That is the whole proposition of a two-person firm, and it cuts both ways honestly: you get the same pair who did the last job, and you do not get a team of twelve who can be on site tomorrow. If we cannot get to you soon enough for what you need, we will say so on the phone rather than book you in and hope.

What we are registered and qualified to do.
NAPIT registered. NAPIT is a government-approved competent person scheme. Being registered with them is what lets us self-certify work that is notifiable under Part P of the Building Regulations, and it is why you get a building regulations compliance certificate at the end of a notifiable job rather than having to involve building control yourself. It also puts us on the Registered Competent Person Electrical register, which anyone can search.
City & Guilds qualified, and EAL accredited. The two main awarding bodies for electrical qualifications in the UK. These are qualifications held by the people doing the work, not a badge bought by the business.
Fully insured. We carry public liability insurance, and we are happy to show the certificate to any customer who asks, which commercial clients and letting agents often do.
Work tested and certified to BS 7671. Every job, not just the big ones. Our terms section 8 sets out exactly which certificate you get for which kind of work, and what we will and will not do about anything we find that is unsafe.
